World’s Teen Graduate

He is short, two years away from his teens. But he is walking 10 feet tall. Becoming the youngest graduate at 11 years and 2 month, Tathagata Avtar Tulsi has rewritten the Guinness Book of Records. Scoring 70 percent, he graduated with honors in Physics from Patna University.

Tathagata’s father, Tulsi Narayan Prasad claims his son has smashed the record of Jay Luo of Garden City, USA, who graduated in science from Boise University, Idaho, when he was 12 years 1 month and 12 days old.

Tathagata took the part I, II & III examination is the same year, But making him sit for the examination was a battle hard fight and last he won. Patna University was in quandary, but the Patna High Court stepped in allowing him to take all three examinations.

University authorities however are guarded about letting him enroll for the M.Sc course.
“We planned his admission but the university does not seem to agree” Tulsi Prasad Said.

Records are not new for Tathagata. When he passed the CBSE at age nine and half he was said to have broken the record of Alexander Hill of England, who passed his school-leaving examination when he was 10 years and 2 months old.

Tathagata is n Delhi; “I am very happy and proud to be the youngest graduate” was all he said.” He is not kind of boy to jump about excitement” Tulsi Prasad said.

The boy from modest home in Bhojpur district of Central Bihar claims to have authored a paper titled “Electrogravity unification and energy loss phenomenon”. His father said offers were on to find a British publisher for the paper.
